STEED, William W. "Bill" Age 52, of Hamilton, died suddenly Wednesday, September 24, 2008 of a thrombus (blood clot) in the right coronary artery. He was born in Hamilton on October 8, 1955 the son of William E. "Gene" and June (Weiland) Steed. He was a self employed businessman for many years and an avid golfer. Survivors include his parents, William E. "Gene" and June Steed: wife, Elaine; sons, Andrew, Matthew (Jenna), Daniel and their mother, Karen Simpson Steed; a brother, Ted (Laura) Steed of Hamilton; stepchildren, Jennifer (James) Craft, Michael and Michelle Pallazza; niece, Sarah Steed; two grandchildren, Kenzie Steed and Maya Craft. Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton. Funeral Service will be Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. at The Presbyterian Church, 23 S. Front St., Hamilton. Private burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Presbyterian Church, 23 S. Front St., Hamilton, OH 45011. A Scholarship Fund will be established in his memory.
